CRANE, Bernard Francis
On Monday, November 6, 2017 Bernie Crane passed into the arms of his Lord. Much loved husband of the late Helen Maude. Cherished father of Rick and his late wife Sharon, and David and his wife Danielle. Devoted grandfather to his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth Crane, and his sister Monica Pepkowski (Edward). Remembered by his extended family and many friends.Bernie was a 35 year veteran of the Ontario Provincial Police, serving in London, Lucan, Tillsonburg and retiring as a Detective Sergeant at District Headquarters in London. Bernie was a proud member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus and a long time parishioner of St. John the Divine Parish. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Sunday afternoon, November 12th from 1:00-4:00 o’clock. Prayers will be held at 1 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West on Monday morning, November 13th at 11 o’clock. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospitality Centre or a charity of one’s choice.
