Obituary Overview
Jean Jaremcio
The family of Jean Jaremcio, age 80, are deeply saddened to share that she passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017 after a lengthy illness at Red Deer Regional Hospital. Jean was born on June 23, 1937 in Delburne, AB and was raised on the family farm where she continued to live with her husband Jim of 62 years, their three children. Jean and Jim recently retired to live at Victoria Park retirement community. While at the farm, Jean took great interest and pride in her vegetable and flower gardens. She had many other passions, but her happiest times were those spent with her friends and family.
Jean was predeceased by her parents George and Isabel Carratt, her infant twin sister, and her son Brian Jaremcio. She is survived by her loving husband Jim, daughter Lisa (Shane) Westin, and son Lyle (Patricia) Jaremcio. She is loved and missed by her grand and great-grandchildren Angela (Chris), Alice and Thomas Genert; Michael (Shannon) and Everett Jaremcio; Chelsea (Joshua), Parker and Wiley Hogan; Dallis (Dre Luna) Westin; and Cassidy Westin. She also leaves her brother Dick (Vickie) Carratt and their 5 children.
Jean’s family, friends and neighbours are invited to attend her Celebration of Life, followed by lunch, on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Delburne Community Hall.
