It is with broken hearts that Helen Janet Turple’s loving husband Leonard Turple, Division Road, Pictou and her loving sister June Ann Babinec, Scotch Hill Road, Pictou, announce Helen’s peaceful passing on October 25, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Our Helen, a beautiful, loving, private lady, chose during her illness and brave battle with cancer to only be attended by a few close family members. Helen cherished and loved “that handsome Turple guy in the brown suit” her husband Leonard of 62 years, the last 15 being very special. Helen and Leonard were a handsome couple. She was an amazing, loving, caring, sharing sister and aunt.
Born in Glace Bay NS on September 8, 1936, she was the second daughter of the late Ernest and Victoria (Swartzack) Weatherbee; predeceased by brother Sonny Weatherbee and sister Joan Langille.
Helen loved all her family, friends, and pets, especially her dog Gentle Ben and frisky cat Arfie. She also loved playing music on her fiddle and keyboard, travelling, dancing and life itself.
Helen’s wishes were to be cremated and stay with her loving husband Leonard and internment will be at a later date when the two shall be united. Helen will deeply be missed.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Turple Helen – Nov 05- 2017.source
