Patricia Muriel Warkentin WARKENTIN – October 27th- 2017

October 27th- 2017
Patricia passed away at Langley Memorial Hospital on October 18, 2017, in her 75th year. Predeceased in April by her husband Edwin, Patricia is survived by her sister Lynn (Bill), brother Jim (Debbie), two nieces, Debbie (Scott) and Diane (Gary), nephew Shane, great nieces Ashley and Lindsay, and great nephew Cody. She is also survived by her family of seven step-children Louise (Bob), Eric (Lois), Judith (Alex), Peter (Judi), Andrew (Ying), Paul (Krista), and Edward (Berva), twenty-one grandchildren, and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
Born in Vancouver in 1943, Patricia’s faith led her to attend Northwest Baptist College and then serve as a secretary at Faith Baptist Church in Vancouver, after which she worked at Simon Fraser University for several years. Patricia and Edwin married in 1984 and for many years were inseparable as they together operated Canadian Picture Framers School in Langley and later traveled extensively throughout B.C. providing picture framing courses in many small communities. Patricia was a gentle soul with a good nature and sense of humour. Sincere thanks to the staff of Langley Memorial Hospital for their extraordinary compassion and care in Patricia’s final weeks. A private function will be held in honour of Patricia.
