Obituary of Arthur McKellar
ARTHUR DONALD McKELLAR
Art passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Emerald Park, SK at the age of 95 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Olive McKellar. Art is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Audrey; children, Alan (Tereasa), Arlene (Dave) and Sharon; grandchildren Tabitha, Jeffrey (Alanna), Michael, Jen, Matthew (Sara), Jason (Kayla), Morgan (Carlene) and Ashley; great-grandchildren Jordan (Nicky), Jessica and Leighton. Art studied at McGill University where he received his Mechanical Engineering degree. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII in Canada and overseas. He was employed in the engineering field, farmed near Souris, MB and later enjoyed a lengthy career with London Life in Regina. A Celebration of life for Art will be held at William Albert House, 333 Emerald Park Road, Emerald Park, SK on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to thank William Albert PCH staff for their kindness, care and support provided at this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Art’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
