Grant Hitchcock
1955-2017
Following a brief illness, Grant Hitchcock of Aroostook, NB, passed
away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on October 25, 2017.
Grant was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on July 15, 1955. He was the son
of the late Norman and Ferne (Butler) Hitchcock. Grant leaves behind
his sons, Logan Hitchcock of Millinocket, ME, Ethan Hitchcock of
Rockland, ME; his step-daughters, Lindsey Swazey of Caribou, ME, and
Chelsea Szabo of Caribou, ME; his five grandchildren; his sister,
Carolyn Grant (Eric) of Four Falls, NB; his brother, Gerald Hitchcock
(Denise) of Newmarket, ON; along with several nieces and nephews.
Grant worked as an electrician prior to his illness. He worked for
Carl’s Electric for many years, but most recently, he worked in
Western Canada before returning home last year.
Respecting Grant’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service held. Interment will be held in Sunset Cemetery, California
Settlement, NB, at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
