A resident of Little Current, Ontario,
died peacefully at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor
on Monday, October 9th, 2017
at the age of 84.
Born to the late Celina (nee Bryant) and the late Percy Kay, at Tehkummah, on August 4th, 1933.
Wife of the late William Gilchrist.
Beloved mother of Dale (Lorie) of Sudbury,
Gwen Hemming of Vancouver Island,
Connie Gilchrist (Robert Thomson) of Woodstock,
Wayne of Windsor,
Brian of Elliot Lake,
John (Liz) of Bolton,
Ian (Suzanne Charette) of Prince George
and Lori of Sudbury.
Predeceased by son Keith.
Survived by brothers Don and Russ
and sister Marg Elliott.
Predeceased by sisters Orma and Marjorie.
Cherished grandmother of 18, great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of one.
Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Alice was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness.

Family and friends will gather at Island Funeral Home
on Saturday, October 21st, 2017
Visitation from 2- 4 pm
Funeral Service at 4 pm
Ash Burial at Providence Bay Cemetery
on Saturday November 25th, 2017 at 1pm
Family will receive friends and relatives at the Providence Bay Hall following the service.
