BARRIAGE, Hazel Marion – of Belleville, entered into rest at her home on Monday evening, October 23rd, 2017, at the age of 86 years. Dear daughter of the late Jack & Rose Hillier. Beloved wife of the late Norman William Barriage. Cherished mother of Joyce (Philip) Sharpe and Judy (Dennis) Baragar both of Belleville. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Lisa (Mike) D’Sa, Norman (Karen) Soulard, Jason Baragar, Nicole (Scott) Mieskie, Lorianne Baragar and by her great grandchildren; Joshua, Logan, Mackenzie, Jayden, Adrianna, Ethan and great great granddaughter Aubrey. Dear sister of Doris Stuart of Belleville. Predeceased by sister Margaret Young and by brother Leo Caul. Hazel will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Hazel was very proud to have worked for Nortel for 27 years, retiring in July 1987. Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, (613-968-2273) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery. The family offers special thanks to Dr. John Coady, Christine from Paramed and Jeanne from Hospice for their care and compasion. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
