Obituary for Alice Ann Skiba (nee Haines)
Alice Ann Skiba (nee Haines) born September 30, 1920 in Edmonton, AB, passed away October 21, 2017 in Mayerthorpe, AB at the age of 97 years.
Alice will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Norma Roszko, Danny (Candy) Skiba and Kathleen (Dan) Moyen; along with her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other dear relatives and friends. Alice is predeceased by her husband, Charles; one granddaughter; one son-in-law; and five brothers and sisters.
Alice will be remembered by family and friends for her gentle nature, humour and generosity.
Thank you to each of the caregivers and fellow residents at the Mayerthorpe Extendicare and Pleasant View Lodge for all the love and kindness shown to Alice and the family.
A Celebration of Alice’s full and joyful life will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Peter Trynchy Room at Pleasant View Lodge, 4407 – 42A Avenue, Mayerthorpe, AB.
