Mildred Acheson – passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday October 17, 2017. She was born 87 years ago, a daughter of the late Percy and Elsie (Davidson) Annett. She resided in Stratford and formerly farmed at RR2 Atwood, near Donegal with her beloved husband Jim who predeceased her in 2003.
Loving mother of Elaine Riehl (Kirk), Marilyn Clements (Paul) and Janette Morrison (Warren). Special grandma of Keith (Andrea), Craig, Michael (Tanya), Jason (Jaci), James, Carly and great-grandma of Dannika and Mikaela. Dear sister of Alice Vine. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by in-laws Bill Vine, Helen and Osmond Lines, Annie and husbands Douglas Cleland and Frank Quipp, Howard and Isabelle Acheson, Melvin and Julia Acheson, mother and father-in-law George and Bertha Acheson.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday October 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Donegal Cemetery.
