Obituary of GARY KLOWAK
GARY KLOWAK
Gary passed away surrounded by love on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the age of 69.
He was born in North Point Douglas and spent most of his life there. He was a kind and anonymously generous person to anyone who needed help. His most prized possession and greatest accomplishment in his life is his daughter Meghann. He was so proud of her success and when she married Brett, Gary was so pleased she had made such a perfect choice. Gary’s career was the Army, The Bay and then his lifetime career with Family Services of Manitoba where he spent 40 years working with people he grew to love as family and Ron, whom he considered his brother.
Gary’s Dad died at quite a young age, and his Mom was loved dearly and was very close and important to Gary.
Gary loved his sister Marilyn dearly and was so proud of the way she raised her children Allen and Marnie.
Uncle Bogo was one of Gary’s favourites as he felt his uncle helped keep their entire family going when times were tough. When Gary met Michelle he accepted her children as his own and they had 20 years of wishing it could have been longer. Many thanks to the people that kept in touch with Gary throughout his illness.
Michelle would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care and professionalism. They were exceptional in the manner Gary was cared for, any need Gary had, was granted with the utmost respect and consideration for his comfort.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family interment will be held.
