Death Notice
Wayne passed away peacefully in the Lord’s eyes at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the age of 69. He was surrounded by his family and close friends. Beloved husband of Ann Marie for 17 years. Loving father of Chris, Lindsay (Dan) and TJ the dog. Dear brother of Howard and Kevin (Diane). Survived by many nieces, nephews, great friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his parents Emmett and Caroline (née Kelly), and sister-in-law Barbara (2016). Wayne was born in Sarnia in 1947 and soon became a well-known figure in the local community – there’s a good chance he’s fixed your HVAC. He was first employed at Sarnia Heating and Cooling, and became a proud member of the United Association Refrigeration Workers Local Union 787 and entrepreneur of McIver Electric. Wayne was a hard worker, and that passion and endeavour was reflected in his relationships with family, friends and colleagues.
