Obituary for Yvette Bidal
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our sister Yvette at Health Sciences North on October 11, 2017 at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Jean-Marie Bidal and the late Elvina Bidal (née Desforges). She is survived by her sister Rachel Comeau (Jean-Marie), and her brothers André (Aline), and Fernand (Sylvie). She was predeceased by her brother Raymond (Clémence) and sister in law Francine and all her nieces and nephews and other close friends and relatives. She was retired from Laurentian Hospital where she worked for over 28 years. Yvette was an avid Montreal Canadians fan as well as an Allouettes and Toronto Bluejays fan. She enjoyed bingo, knitting, music (especially Elvis) and politics. She was quick to forgive and had a place in her heart for all! She will be greatly missed! Special thanks to the Elizabeth Centre, especially her friend Mandy, for their great care and compassion! The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, October 20, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 21, 2017 à 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the “Make-a-Wish Canada” for children would be greatly appreciated.
