Wilda Richardson – 1920 – 2017

1920 – 2017
Obituary of Wilda Richardson
In loving memory of our mother who passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
Wilda Geach was born in Kitchener and spent most of her life here, raising a family and making friends. Wilda was the dear wife of the late James Henry Richardson. Loving mother of Gary (Gay), Wendy, Lee (Debbie) and Rob (Terri).
Predeceased by an infant son, James, a grandson, Tim, her sister, Theo, and son-in-law, Dave.
Cherished grandmother of David (Crystal), Andrew (Ania), Lesley (Scott), Tiffany (Tony), Holly (Damian), Kaley (Bruno), Kristin, and Jill (Kyle). Also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren. She will be held forever dear in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her sense of humour, love of nature and, of course, her date squares will never be forgotten!
Thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Andrew’s Terrace in Cambridge who took such good care of our mother these last few years.
Cremation has already taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 12 – 12:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Das Sydney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilda’s name to Highland Road Baptist Mission Circle or a charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
“They fall softly on our lives, those moments that make all the difference, those moments touched by a mother’s love. They shine down through our lives with magical light . . . forever.”

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Wilda
