1941-2017
MacDonald, Everett Jerome, 75, of Lower South River,
Antigonish County, passed away peacefully surrounded by family,
Tuesday, October 11, 2017 in the QEII Hospital, Halifax. Born in
Goshen, Guysborough County, he was the son of the late Henry and Josie
(Flynn) MacDonald. Everett resided in Lower South River most of his
life. He was employed as a heavy machine operator for F.A. Tucker Ltd
for several years. He was a 4th degree member of The Knights of
Columbus Antigonish, a volunteer softball coach for many years, and an
active member of Saint Ninian Cathedral Parish.
Everett is survived by his wife of
51 years, Shirley (MacMillan), Antigonish; children, Lynne (Dave),
Halifax; Trevor (Katie), Halifax; siblings, Margaret (Peggy) (late
Donald) Steeves , Ohio, Elizabeth (late Bernie) MacDonald, Antigonish;
Gordon (Helen) MacDonald, Middleton; John (late Shirley) MacDonald,
Antigonish; Leo MacDonald (Antigonish); and the light of his life his
grandchildren, Chelsea, Aaron, Alexander and
William. He is preceded in death by brothers Harry
(Roberta) MacDonald and Lawrence (Patsy) MacDonald.
Visitation will be Friday, October
14th from 2-4 and 7-9
pm at MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61
Pleasant St, Antigonish. Funeral services, with reception to
follow, will be held on Saturday October
15th at 2:00 pm at
St. Andrews Parish Church, 3858 Highway 316, Antigonish County.
Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Family flowers
only please.

Halifax for their efforts and compassion.
