Paul Allan “Al” Lorhan
Paul Allan “Al” Lorhan, 78, of Moncton, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Born
in Guelph, ON, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Wolney)
Lorhan.
Al was a retired Senior Vice President with Aon Reed
Stenhouse. He was a member of Acacia Lodge #49, F. & A.M.,
Moncton, St. George’s Lodge, St. John’s, NL,
Member and Past Potentate, Mazol Shriners Newfoundland and Labrador
and Associated Member of the Luxor Shriners, Moncton.
Al will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeanette (MacDonald)
Lorhan; children, Paul of Mississauga, ON, Alison of Calgary, AB and
Shaun (Bonnie) of Victoria, BC; stepsons, Jason Gillespie of Calgary
and Steven (Michelle) of Belgium; grandchildren, Aaron, Nicholas and
Evan; step granddaughters, Brittany and Taylor; sister, Joan MacAtter
(Jack); sister-in-law, Anne Lorhan; several nieces, nephews and
extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his brother, John.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Acacia Lodge #49, F. & A.M. Masonic Service at 6:45 pm at the
Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Al’s life will be
held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 52 Falkland St., on
Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Charles Broderick
presiding. Reception in the Parish Hall following the
Mass.
