Obituary of Michael Gellner
Gellner, Michael Herman – of Ridgetown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 9, 2017, age 80. Survived by his wife of 26 years, Leta (Patrick) Gellner.
Father of Philip (Michele) Gellner of Brantford and Sharon (Will) Tracey of Brantford. Step-father of Rick (Janice) Lindsay of Nova Scotia, Deborah (Howard) Lee of Chatham, Kenneth (Janine) Garton of Chatham, and Lori (Wilfrid) Rose of Angus. Grandfather of twelve grandchildren. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Brother of Jay Gellner of Coboconk, John Gellner of Windsor and Esther (Dave) Ganderton of Glouchester. Brother-in-law of Art Van Wyck of Mississauga and Carol Chrcek of Kingsville.
Predeceased by his sister Mary Van Wyck, brother Dan (late Marilyn) Gellner, and sister-in-law Anne Gellner.
Michael was born in Windsor on September 30, 1937, son of the late George Gellner and the late Mary Gellner.
Michael worked for Hanks Auto Body in Dresden and Grant Langstaff Construction in Morpeth. He was also a member of the Gregory Drive Alliance Church, Chatham.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at in the Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
