At his home on Sunday, October 8, 2017 the passing of Albert
Ernest Larsen, age 79, beloved husband of 52 years to Barbara
(Cantelo) Larsen occurred with his loving family by his side. Born in
Belfast he was a son of the late Aage and Algunda (Svendsen)
Larsen. Albert will be sadly missed by his loving children, Paul
(Patti) Larsen, Jennifer (Peter) Penny, Mark (Maggie) Larsen, Greg
(Donalda) Larsen; cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Micah, Petra
Larsen, Curtis, Matthew, Nicholas, Rebecca Penny, Channing, Beaux
Hissa, Jerrod Brown and Makayla Larsen; brothers Harold (Aletha)
Larsen, Louis (Kathleen) Larsen, Wanda Ings, Lester (Gloria) Larsen,
Roderick (Sigrid) Larsen; brother-in-law John Morrison; sisters-in-law
Louise Larsen, Doris Morrison, Jean Cantelo and Mary Beaton; several
cousins, numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by
sisters, Tobie Larsen, Bessie Morrison, Florence (Boynton) Panton,
Margaret (Neil) Panton, brother, John Larsen;
brothers-in-law, Alton Cantelo, Harold Cantelo, Earl Cantelo, Murdock
Morrison Maurice Ings.
His faith held strong
after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be greatly
missed by all who came to love and know him.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on
Tuesday, October 10th from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral to take place
on Wednesday, October 11th in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm.
Interment to follow in the Belfast Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society or Haddington House, designated to Dumisani College
South Africa would be appreciated.
