Obituary for Reverend Father Bernard Legault
Reverend Father Bernard Legault (1943-2017)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Father Legault in Sudbury, Saturday, October 7, 2017. Son of the late Donat and the late Florence Legault (née Dufresne). He is survived by his sisters Marie-Thérèse (late Karl Kennepohl) and Gertrude (Gilles Lemieux) from Blind River and his brothers Deacon Justin (Dianne) from Azilda and Philippe (Cheryl) from Ingersol. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Pierre. Sadly missed by his nephews and nieces Christophe, Elizabeth, Hélène, Robert, Leanne, Jean-Gilles, André, Kyla, Corey, Tiffany and by his dear friends Cécile, Manon and Guyanne Schryer. He also will be missed by his new family at Villa Loyola. The family will receive relatives and friends at the St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, 26 Kathleen St., Sudbury, Wednesday October 11th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. and presided by Most Reverend Marcel Damphousse, Bishop of the Diocese of Sault Ste-Marie. Funeral arrangement entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home Sudbury. Donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca

Sympathies message

  1. Our sympathy to all family members and friends. We are very furtunate and feel privileged that he was recently with us to bless Mom’s ashes and enjoy a heatwarming dinner at matante Gracia’s house in Lavigne.
    We will unfortunately not be able to assist.
