Obituary of Richard Caird
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away.”
Dick, in his 82nd year, beloved and cherished husband of Gerry for 41 years, passed away on October 7, 2017, at Bethell Hospice. Loving father of Tim (Cathy) Kocher, Vance (Judy) Caird and Alison Caird (Barry Knaut). Loved grandfather of Matthew (Sarah), Andrew, Erin (Rick), Hilary (Shawn), Leah, Laura (Marc), Derek (Sonya), Justin and Brett. Great grandfather of Riley, Hailey, Carson, Mia, Lincoln, Wyatt, Jenson and Lennox. Dear brother of Dale (Flo) Caird. Born November 9, 1935 in Fairholme Saskatchewan to the late Harold and Marie Caird (nee Aylward). Cremation has taken place. As per his wishes, the family will be having a Celebration of Life at a private function. For those who wish, donations in his honor can be sent to Bethell Hospice, www.bethellhospice.org, or St. John’s Anglican Church, Stewarttown.
