Obituary for Ross Walker
WALKER, Ross Quinton, on Monday, September 11, 2017, of Ingleside, in his 84th year (1934-2017). He is survived by his wife Martha, in their 63rd year of marriage; and two sons David (Karen) and Robert (Brenda); seven grandchildren Karen (Michael), James, Sarah (Steve), Tara, Kim (Brauck), Brittany (Ryan) and Bradley (Lindsey), as well as three great grandchildren Dylan, Jackson and Addisyn. Ross is also survived by son-in-law Carson, brother-in-law Reg Bishop of Kamloops, B.C. and sisters-in-law Gladys Ethier (Len) of Kinistino, SK and Joyce Walker of Kelowna, BC, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ross was predeceased by his parents Stewart and Katie Walker (nee Shepherd), his most precious daughter Cathy Eva Elliott (nee Walker) and his two brothers Kenneth and Harold. Ross was an upstanding and active member of the community and will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially those who enjoyed his musical abilities. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF ROSS’ LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 15, 2017 AT 1PM.]. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
