Herbie went ahead of his beloved Sylvia to meet his beloved Father and join his siblings on Monday, September 18, 2017. Herbie was the tenth of eleven children born to Leopold and Marie at the homestead in Markinch, Saskatchewan. Dad loved his sports playing hockey, baseball, and curling for many years. His family, church, and community were very important to him. He spent many hours volunteering putting in the ice, preparing for the Markinch BBQ, sports day dances, as well as tournaments and bonspiels.
