Fredrick McKinnon
March 11th, 1949 – September 14th, 2017
Fredrick Hugh McKinnon passed away on Thursday, September 14th, 2017 after a brief illness. Fred is survived by his wife Cathy; stepchildren Matthew and Caitlin; grandson Cohen who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Roberta; nephews Jim and Rob; great nephew Jace and great niece Elexa; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents Ruby and Hugh and brother-in-law Cliff. Special thanks to the team at the Chinook Hospice. At Fred’s request, there will be no funeral service and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (www.albertacancer.ca).
