Obituary of Albert Mayhew
Mayhew, Albert Arthur- Peacefully on September 14th, 2017 at the Georgetown Hospital. Born in Mattawa, Ontario in 1924, he moved to Toronto and married Ange-Aimée Boucher in 1955, who predeceased him in 1994. Proud father of four children André (Maureen), Alain (Adele), Linda Muffitt (David) and Shirley Kmecz (Andrew). Loving grandfather to Gerald, John, James and Matthew. Long-time resident of 3 Hyde Park Drive, Georgetown, including over 10 years as security personnel. Albert was known for his generosity, assistance to other residents in the building and kindness overall. Special thanks to Dr. K. Cherla and the Georgetown Hospital for their excellent care. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown on Monday September 18th from 10:00 am until time of service held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
