TRENTON – Brodie Arthur Henley, 82, Trenton, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Upper Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Isaac and Addie (Hamilton) Henley. Brodie worked in the woods and fished lobster and crab during his working life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, you could usually find him outside in his favorite spot, his shed.
Surviving are wife, Lauretta (Farnell); daughters, Mary Jane, Trenton; Bonnie (Kevin), New Glasgow; son, Arthur, Trenton, grandchildren, Ross (Brandy); Frankie; Joey (Sarah), and Megan; great grandchildren, Brodie; Carter and Xavier; sister, Luella Farnell; brother Charlie (Joanie), both of Upper Musquodoboit; numerous nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Viola; son, David; siblings, Russell, Stewart, Wilfred, Leroy, Howard, Harrison, and Amy.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
