Evelyn Isabel (Artes) Bunker – October 24, 1929 – August 18, 2017 (age 87)

Bunker, Evelyn Isabel (Artes) Bunker – The family wishes to announce the passing of Evelyn Bunker, 87 of Rusagonis. Evelyn passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born and grew up in Fredericton Junction, NB, and was the daughter of the late Ethel (Ellis) and Thomas Newton Artes. She was the wife of the late Charles Bunker.
Evelyn was an avid piano player from an early age, and kept up her interest with the latest sheet music. She was also an animal advocate, and had many pets of her own.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Macleod, and three grandchildren: Duncan, Kate and Charlie.
Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sisters; Minnie Ball and Ada Nutter, and four brothers; Dennis, Harry, Norman and Tyler. She was the last surviving member.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 31 2017 at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Fredericton Jct., at 11am with Bishop George Lemmon officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Evelyn’s name to St. Andrews Anglican Church the SPCA or any animal welfare society.
