CHURCHER, John Francis (1957 – 2017) – suddenly, as a result of a motor vehicle accident while driving his new motor home on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 in his 61st year. Cherished husband of Deborah Churcher (nee Haselmayer) of Vittoria. Beloved father of Jared Churcher (Trish Castles); Brandon Churcher, both of Greens Corners and Jordan Churcher (Carrie Duesling) of Vittoria. Loving son of John & Sally Churcher of Simcoe. Dear brother of Debby Taylor (Scott) of Otterville, their children Tim & Toby, and the late Christine Wintemute (2008), her children Dakota & Dylon. John will be lovingly remembered by Deb’s siblings, her sister Jo-Anne Beatty (Brook) of Brampton, their daughter Jamie; her brother Rick Haselmayer (Brenda) of Simcoe, their children Jessica & Sarah; and by her brother Randy Haselmayer (Blanca) of Forestville. Predeceased by Deb’s parents, the late Bonnie & Mary Haselmayer. John’s life was devoted to his 3 sons, from paintball, motocross & hockey, he was their biggest fan. He loved to travel in his motor home and ride his Harley. John was a long time employee of Deb Canada for more than 42 years. He will be sadly missed by his “Fur Babies”, Sprocket & Harley. Friends are invited to share their memories of John with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, August 18th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. John’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation. Private interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of John are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society.
