Obituary
Dianne Lynn Reid–Rolf passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2017, at the age of 75 years.
She had suffered a massive stroke at the end of April 2017 and in May was transferred into the care of the wonderful staff at the Foyer Lacombe Hospice Center in St. Albert, AB.
Dianne was born August 26, 1941 and raised in the village of Gagetown, New Brunswick, where she lived throughout her childhood. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Clifford Reid; and her brother, Kent Reid.
Leaving behind to treasure her memory are her husband of fifteen years, Ronald Rolf; step-daughter, Cathy (Brian) Scott, grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Cory (great-grandchildren Riley and Kaleb), grandchildren, Garrett Robitaille and Megan (Scott) Latimer (great-grandchildren Kaycen and Aliese); step-daughter, Christine (Gary) Bray and grandchildren Taylor and Matthew; her sister, Keltie (Adrian) Creamer, and nephew, Aaron; her sister-in- law, Verna Reid and niece, Cindy (Kurt) Reid Middleton, nephew, Clint (Tessa) Reid, (great-nephews Cooper and Ryley); nephew, Craig Reid, (great-nephews Carter, Daxten and Nixon); cousin, Norma(Bill) Jones; and numerous beloved friends from all over Canada.
Dianne was an extraordinary woman who had a way of connecting with and enriching the lives of everyone she met. She also channeled that gift into her many professional and personal achievements and passions.
She lived her life with quiet determination and dedication to her loving family, cherished friends and spiritual faith community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in honour of Dianne to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated.
