1967-2017
Warren Edison Downey of Spruce Groove, Alberta, passed away on Friday,
August 11, 2017 in Spruce Groove. He was born June 30, 1967 in
Woodstock, NB. He was predeceased by his brother Jerry Downey in 2012.
Warren is survived by his wife, Susan McHatten of Spruce Groove, AB;
parents, Gerald and Maxine Downey, of Somerville, NB; children,
Desiree Downey (Corey St Amand) of Moncton, NB, Chelsey Downey of
Woodstock, NB; stepsons, Andrew McHatten of Edmonton, AB, Tyson
McHatten (Mallory Pryor) of Wakefield, NB; grandchildren, Breanna,
Addison, Shelby, Braydon, Halli, Nash; sister-in-law, Gail Downey of
Waterville, NB; niece, Kayla Downey; nephew, Kyle Downey; aunts and
uncles, Glenna Morgan of Florenceville, NB, Carol and Bill MacDonald
of Mazerolle Settlement, NB, William and Bernice Messer of Petawawa,
ON; several cousins.
Visiting hours for Warren will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at
the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland from 6 to 8 p.m. The
funeral service will be on Friday, August 18th at 2:00 p.m. from the
Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Doug Cook officiating. If
so desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health
Association of New Brunswick.
