Paterson, Lorraine Marilyn (nee Bartlett) … It is with great
sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Lorraine at the
Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 1, 2017. Predeceased by
her husband John Paterson (1988). Beloved partner of John Bye.
Cherished mother of Keith, the late Pam, Doug (Anna) and Hopper
(Vanka). Proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren. Sister of Murray, Verna, Russell, Ina, Lyle,
Sheila, Bruce, Sharon, the late Helen, the late Muriel and the late
Evelyn. Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Gladys Bartlett.
Lorraine was a longtime school bus driver and an avid camper. She was
a devout fan of the Blue Jays and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary
with the Shriners. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St.,
Cambridge, where family will receive friends on Friday August 4, 2017
from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted in the
funeral home chapel on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 11a.m. Interment
will follow at St. George Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy,
donations made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, would be
appreciated by the family.
