Helen F. Fenwick
Helen Fenwick, 97, of Truleigh Country Manor and
formerly of Gallagher Ridge and People’s Park Tower, was
called to her heavenly home on Friday, July 21, 2017.
Born in
Chatham, she was the daughter of the late A. E. (Ned) and Lillian
(Belyea) Straight.
Her greatest
love was for her Lord and Savior.
Her
family meant a lot to her and she enjoyed being a loving wife, mother,
grand-mother, great grand-mother, sister and aunt. And will be
remembered for her precious smile, kindness and
thoughtfulness. Earlier in life, she enjoyed
cooking, knitting, planting flowers, writing poetry and
travelling. She also enjoyed family
reunions and the annual corn boils.
Later on
she took painting classes in both Moncton and
Arizona. She loved expressing herself
through her oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, and was a member of
the Moncton Arts Society and was also a part of “The Painting
Trio”. She displayed and sold many of
her paintings at Art Shows and some have been donated to The Moncton
Hospital.
She will be
sadly missed by her daughter, Lyn (Bob) of Phoenix, Arizona; her son
Jim (Jean) of Moncton; grandchildren, Holly and Cindy of Arizona,
Cathy of Moncton and Jimmy of Kamloops, BC; sister, Connie Clark of
Moncton; several great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews
Helen was
predeceased by her husband, Harold; brothers, Robert, Harold and Don;
sisters, Lillian and Muriel.
The family
would like to thank Janet and Ivan Steeves and the staff of Truleigh
Country Manor for the many years of special care given to their
mother.
No
visitation hours by personal request. A Service to honour and
celebrate Helen’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral
Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, July
