Tenner Ivan Edward

Tenner Ivan Edward

Peacefully, at home,
surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Ivan passed
away in his 88th year. Loving husband of Susan Gaynor
& the late Helen Tenner (1981); father of Ivan Tenner Jr.
& his wife Shelley of London, ON, and Todd Gaynor of Virginia
Beach, Virginia. Cherished “granddad” of Ashley
& Andrew. Dear brother of Lila (Joe) Gilmore,
Eleanor (Danny) Wilson, Anne (David) Cavanaugh &
brother-in-law of Phyllis Tenner, all of Northern Ireland.
Predeceased by brother Gerald Tenner & sister Francis (David)
Gilmore. Also survived by many nieces & nephews in
Northern Ireland and cousins in Virginia.
Ivan
immigrated to Canada in 1966 from Northern Ireland as a bricklayer
& worked many years as a construction
superintendent. He loved music and could always be found on
the dance floor. Ivan loved everything soccer – playing from
a little boy back home until finishing later in life with the London
Scottish Masters here in London.
A very
special thank you to Dr. Kirk Hamilton & his team and Ivan’s
neighbors for all their love & care.
Friends will be
received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between
Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from
11am-12pm. A Celebration of Ivan’s Life will follow in the
Logan Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with The Rev’d Canon Marian Haggerty
officiating. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would
be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be
