At Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Friday, July 14, 2017 of Flesherton in his 66th year. Loving husband of Wendy. Dear father of Stephanie(DJ) Johnson of Dundalk, Eric(Sarah) and Karla Renaud all of Newmarket and nephew John of Keswick. Loved and remembered by grandchildren Jaiden, Cole, Dagwood and Adrianna. Greg will be missed by siblings Dave(Cathy) of Port Perry, Art(Kelly Warren) of Scarborough, Johnnie of Gravenhurst, Chris(Janice) of Oshawa, Doris(Alan) Jones of Burnaby, BC, Monica(Michee) Bouchard of Calgary, AB, Bob of Oshawa and brother in law Willie Beresford. Predeceased by sister Francie Beresford. Greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Greg worked as a drywall carpenter with local 675 for almost 50 years, mostly in Toronto, having worked on many major projects there including hospitals, office buildings and other landmark buildings. Time with family, puttering around the house, fishing and photography were his passions, as long as the radio was on, playing his favourite rock tunes.
Celebration of Life to be held at Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 1-4pm with special memories shared at 2pm. Memorial contributions to the Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation or an environmental conservation charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated.
