Bathurst – Thomas “Tommy” Lavigne,
75, formerly of South Bathurst, passed away on Saturday, July 1st
following a brief battle with cancer at the ChaleurRegionalHospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, Tommy was the son of the
late William T. and Elizabeth (Duclos)
Lavigne.
He is survived by 3 brothers – Maynard
(Jessie), David (Pam Elliot) and Omer all of Bathurst and one sister
Patrina Hoffman (Werner) of Montreal, QC. Many nieces and
nephews.
He is predeceased by brothers Cletus, Edgar,
Elmer, Alvin, Norman, Tommy (in infancy) and sisters Agnita, Robina
and Marjorie.
There will be no visitation at the funeral
home. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Elhattons Funeral Home
chapel on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 2
p.m.
The family would like to thank the Doctors
and staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Palliative Care unit and
Residence Boudreau for the excellent care
provided.
Donations in memory of Tommy can be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite
charity.
