Obituary for James “Fraser” Downey
James “Fraser” Downey, a resident of Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Lucknow and formerly of Bruce Township, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, June 21st, 2017, at the age of 76.
Beloved son of the late George and Hilda (née Fairbairn) Downey.
Dear brother Janet Robertson (Garry) of Cambridge.
Missed by his aunt Violet Fairbairn and cousins, Wayne Mewhinney, Edith McMyler, Ken Fairbairn (Johanna).
Fondly remembered by dear friends Ivan Smith and Lori Mortimer and the staff and residents of Pinecrest Manor.
The memorial service to celebrate Fraser’s life will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton on Friday, June 30th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend David Chang officiating.
Final resting place Tiverton Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
