Kathleen “Kaye” Foreman
1936-2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kathleen
“Kaye” Foreman announces her death at Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, on June 16, 2017. Born in
Fredericton, NB, on February 26, 1936, Kaye was predeceased by her
father, George Foreman; mother, Myrtle Gallagher; brother, George
Foreman Jr. (Sunny); and special brother, Robin McNeil.
Kaye is survived by her son, Philip McGeehan (Mary Lou);
granddaughter, Kristin McGeehan (Steve Murphy); longtime companion and
friend, Leslie Harrison; sister-in-law, Roberta Foreman; nephew, Vance
Foreman (Roxanne) and their sons, Vance Jr. and Owen; close friends,
Bobbie Emerson, Julie McMullan and Carolyn Green.
Kaye earned a BA, BSW from St. Thomas University. Before her
retirement she worked at DECH Addiction Services as a Counsellor
(Victoria Treatment Center). She loved her friends and her pet
companion, “George”.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home,
160 York Street, Fredericton, on Tuesday, June 20, from 7-9 pm. A
memorial service will take place at St. Thomas Anglican Church in
Stanley, NB, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The
Rev’d Canon Bonita LeBlanc will officiate. Interment will
follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Cross Creek. For
those who wish, donations in Kaye’s memory can be made to
the Fredericton SPCA.
