Ronald Francis Caissie
Ronald F. Caissie, 56, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at
the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Thursday, June
15, 2017 after a lengthy and courageous battle with
cancer.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of Maria (Melanson) Caissie
and the late Clovis Caissie. Ronald was retired from Allsco Windows
& Doors Ltd., with over 20 years’ service. He loved
to play pool with the boys at Miss Cue, enjoyed watching NASCAR and
Formula One, was a Kyle Busch fan and loved spending time with his
grandchildren.
Ronald will be sadly missed by his children, Nick Stewart
(Aimée) of Upper Coverdale, Bryan Stewart, Aaron Stewart
and Holly Stewart, all of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Madison,
Sarah, Eric, Mason and Kayden; sisters, Andrea Doiron, Annette Caissie
and Noella Mazerolle; brothers, Camille Caissie (Roberte) and Gerard
Caissie (Ruth); best friend, Denis LeBlanc; many nieces, nephews and
extended family members.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister,
Germaine and brothers, Leopold and Gerald.
Ronald’s family would like to thank the team of
doctors and nurses of the Oncology Department and the Palliative Care
Unit at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC for the compassion and care
given to Ronald during his stay.
Visitation for family and friends at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and
7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Ronald’s
life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 19,
2017 at 11:30 am, with Rev. Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in
the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment
will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
