H. LaVerne Robson

LaVerne passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Born in Oro Township, Ontario, on September 30, 1924, Howard LaVerne Robson of Seaforth, was in his 93rd year.
Beloved husband and best friend for 44 years to the late Audrey (née Mundy) Robson (April 19, 2013). Loving father of Paula Purdy (Kirk), Linda Budd (William), Wayne Robson (April), Terrence Robson (Susan), Lynda Shaw and Curtis Robson. Dearly missed by his grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. LaVerne will also be missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his children Theresa Cooper (Carl), Robert Hunt, Donald Hunt and John Hunt (Cindy).
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 12 noon until the time of LaVerne’s funeral service at 1 p.m. A reception will immediately follow at the Seaforth Legion. Cremation will also take place following the service and LaVerne’s remains will be laid to rest with Audrey’s in Maitland Bank Cemetery at a later date.
