Robert “Bob” Best
1939-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late
Robert (Bob) Best announce his passing on June 9, 2017 at Labrador
Grenfell Health in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 77
years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Vera
Best. Leaving to mourn his children Bobby (Angie), Wayne, Wally
(Jackie), Sandra (Dave), Shelly (Shawn) and Sally (Marcel);
grandchildren, Jillian, Jessica, Tanya, Kelly, Keon, Kayla, Junior,
Amanda, Nicki, Natalie, Christopher, Heather and Alicia; great
grandchildren, Freddie, Jackson, Lennon, Maddison, Quinn, Chloe, Tye,
Joshua and Bradey; brothers, Mark and Joe Best; sister Marion
Broomfield; as well as a large circle of nieces nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place with burial to follow at a
later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be
made to The Lung Association. No flowers by
request. Special thanks to the staff at Labrador Grenfell
