Robina (Ruby) Jane Loucks (nee Walper)
November 26, 1924 to June 4, 2017.
Mom, you loved and taught us to love. You cared, and showed others that it was a good thing to care. You lived the “Golden Rule”, and gently reminded us of its value. You lived a life of valuing others for who they were, not what they had. Thank you for being in our lives and memories. Rest easy, knowing that while you will be missed, you lived a full and rich life. Your impact where you stopped across… the country was quiet, but had great effect.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Harry, in 1979, Ruby leaves behind memories for David (Karen), Beth, Joyce (Michael), Jack (Ann) and Tim (Arlene), grandchildren, Amanda, Sean (Brie), Kaytie, Ben, Jessie, Grace, Georgia and Spencer, nieces, nephews and friends.
She considered you all family.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at Okotoks United Church on Saturday June 10th at 2:00 p.m.
Internment will follow at a later date in Cochrane, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Okotoks United Church or Foothills Country Hospice.
