1964-2017
The passing of Richard
Allan “Ricky” Cormier, occurred suddenly at
home on Sunday, June 4, 2017, after a brief illness. Ricky
was 53 years of age, and was born in Sackville, a son of the late
Raymond and Patricia (Gaudet) Cormier.
Ricky was a loving husband and
father. He was an avid poker player. He enjoyed
spending time with friends, his family, and Ella.
Ricky will be deeply missed by his wife,
Kathy (nee Scoggins), of Dorchester, with whom he would have
celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary in October; his daughter,
Ashley (Mark Estabrooks), Dorchester; brothers, Ronnie (Amy), and
Derick; his mother-in-law, Doreen Richards; sisters-in-law, Angela
(Randy) Clare, Heather (Earl) Beal, and Donna (Robbie) Lowerison; a
brother-in-law, William (Barb) Scoggins, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Ricky was
predeceased by his son Jordan Cormier in 2009, and his father-in-law,
Floyd Scoggins in 2013.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where family and friends
are invited to a time of visitation on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2-4
and 6-8 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a
later date.
Donations in memory of Ricky may be made
to the 5600 Surgical Unit of the Moncton Hospital.
