Vivian Kathleen Steeves
Vivian K. Steeves, 89, of Moncton passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born in
Berryton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Lulu (Turner)
Wilson.
Vivian retired from The Moncton Hospital Food
Services, with 37 years’ service. She was a member of Sunny
Brae Baptist Church and attended Parkside Baptist Church. She enjoyed
bowling, music, knitting, crocheting, cooking, hosting Sunday family
suppers and most importantly spending time with her
family.
Vivian will be sadly missed by her loving
children, Marlane Rule (Ed), Darrell Steeves and Terry Steeves, all of
Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Tim Brine (Julie Hawkes), Kathleen
and Chelsie Steeves; great grandchildren, Dylan and Carrie Brine;
sister, Sheila Cudmore of Moncton; sister in law, Greta Steeves (late
Martin); brothers in law, Ivan Steeves (late Velma) and John Mellish;
as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was
predeceased by her husband Ernest “Ernie” Steeves
(May, 2016), her granddaughter, Tanya Brine; sisters, Dora, Guelda and
Velma; son in law, Bud Brine.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate and Honour
Vivian’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mitch
Whittington officiating. Reception following the service in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held at Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.

made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian
Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online
