Obituary for Al Bromwich
Peacefully at C.E.E. Hospital in Petrolia on May 23, 2017, Alfred Wallace Bromwich of Petrolia, passed away at the age of 87. Beloved husband to the late Mary Bromwich (nee Stanley) for nearly 50 years. Devoted father to Elizabeth (Robin) Brooker, Susan (David) Smith and Barbara (John) Brown. Loving grandfather to Amanda Brooker, Crystal Brooker, Brittany (Aca) Steckler, Heather Brooker, Ashlee Smith and Michael (Julie) Brown and proud great-grandfather to Allie, Ashlynne and Lennox. Al worked for the MTO for many years, building and maintaining highways including the 400 series and the QEW. He was a devoted Mason, a long-time member of the Lambton Shrine Club, and was also a Kentucky Colonel. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Al’s life will take place at a later date. Interment will be in St. James Anglican Cemetery in Lucan Ontario. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Lambton Shrine Club.
