Obituary for Wilma Timmers
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Sunday, May 21, 2017. WILMA TIMMERS, of Petrolia, was in her 60th year. Wilma will be missed by her husband Randy Clarke. Wilma was a step-mother to Jake (Jessica) Clarke and Aaron (Danielle) Clarke, and grandmother to four grandchildren. She was the loved daughter to Adrianus and Catharina Timmers of Strathroy, and sister to John (Elsie), Martin (Mary), Mary (Bill), Marj, Paul, Joanne (Ed), Teresa (Henry), and Fran (Roger). She was aunt to 27 nieces and nephews and was predeceased by a niece, Janet. She was a special friend of Bill and Diane, Brian and Joanne, and Penny and George. A private service will be held at later date. A celebration of Wilma’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Petrolia, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice (www.stjosephshospice.ca). Wilma’s family would like to thank Dr. Crombeen, Dr. Kellam, and the Palliative Care staff at Bluewater Health for their care and compassion during her illness.
