At Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, May 15,
2017, Mrs. Bonita Dee of Limestone Siding passed away at the age of
81. She was the widow of Nicholas Dee. Born at
Perth-Andover in 1935, she was a daughter of the late Marshall
“Bud” and Pauline (Larlee) Butler.
She is survived by her ten children, Richard, at home, Marie
Mulherin (Joseph) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Gilbert (Vella) of
Limestone, Maine, Christina Guerrette (Fidele) of Grand Falls, Martina
Diamond (Danny) of Saint-Leonard, Shirley Dee-Glenn (Joseph) of
Brown’s Flat, Roger (Michelle) of Limestone Siding, Bonnie McCarthy
(Stephen) of Grand Falls, Gordon (Derek) of Fredericton and Joani
Dee-Hill (Stephen) of New Maryland, 21 grandchildren, 20 great
grandchildren, four sisters, Marilyn Sonnenberg (Norm) of Arizona,
Madeline Plant (Bernie) of Aroostook, Mary Ellen Sullivan (Verdel) of
Four Falls and Eunice Shanks (Brian) of Perth-Andover, several nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband
and grandson Shawn Dee.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday, May 17th from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. and at the church on Thursday, May 18th from 1 to 2
p.m.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, May 18th at 2 p.m.
from the Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church, Limestone Siding with Rev.
Roy Dee officiating. Interment will be in the Donovan
Cemetery, California Settlement. For those who wish,
donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by
the family.
