Callie Pearl Drane – 1928-2017

It is with sadness, that we, the Drane family, announce that Mrs.
Callie Drane, our Mother and Grandmother, was freed from this life on
May 11, 2017 at the Sussex Health Center.
Callie was born on September 13, 1928 and was the daughter of the late
William and Alice (Barnett) Bunn.
Callie is survived by her children: Wallace Bunn Sr. of BC; Michael
Drane (Susan) of Willow Grove; David J. Drane, Sussex; Christopher
Drane (Juanita) of Sussex,; sisters: Laurel Teehan (Walter) of
Waterford; Lynn Sullivan (Kevin) of Sussex; Callie Canrinus of Sussex;
Ruth Erb (William) of Poodiac; Autumn Whitaker (Donald) of Grand Bay;
her sisters: Ruth Blacklock (Fred) of Moncton and Phyllis Akery of
Ontario as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by her sons; Stephen Drane, Andrew Drane, and Shawn Drane;
her daughter Iris Justason and her brothers: Gordon, Roy, Sanford,
Herbert and Jene.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Sussex Select Community
Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB E4E 5L6 (506) 433-2133. No
visitation or funeral service will be held as per Callie’s
wishes.
Callie will be reunited with her parents at a grave side service
taking place at a later date.
Donations made in Callie’s memory to the Sussex Red Cross are
preferred by the family.
