Peacefully at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital on Thursday, May 11, 2017 Hendrika van Rens (van de Wetering) in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Lambert “Bert” van Rens for 62 years. Loving mother of Peter (Diane), John (Sarah), Gerry (Sheila), Joanne (Phil Doyle) and Diane (Dale Downey). Proud Oma of Kevin, Bryan, Samantha, Schae, Lilah, Eve, Jaime, Brynn and Keenan. Sister of Mary van Loon, Joanne van Eyck, Jean Ruiter, Martina Vingerhoets and the late Betsy van Pinxterng, Toon Wetering, Lambert Wetering, Antonie van Sleuwen and Johanna. The family would like to thank the staff of the General Hospital Cardiac Care Unit and Élisabeth Bruyère Palliative Care team. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street (between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday May 15. Funeral Tuesday to St. John the Evangelist Church, 2546 Stagecoach Road, Enniskerry for Mass of Christian Funeral Tuesday May 16 at 11 AM In lieu of flowers donations to the Élisabeth Bruyère Foundation, 43 Bruyere Street, Ottawa, K1N 5C8 would be appreciated.
