Arbour, Ernest (1934-2017)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Albert Arbour and of the late Laurencia (née Poirier) Arbour. Loving husband of Henriette Arbour (née Rivest) of Lavigne. Dear father of Gilles (Carole) of Hanmer and the late Ronald. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ronald, Renée, Alex and by his great-grandson Cédrick. Also survived by his brothers Marcelin (Emilienne) of Barrie, Victor (Marielle), Jean Paul (Estelle) both of Lavigne and by his sister Lorraine Cosgrove (Hughey) of North Bay. Predeceased by his siblings Yvette, Edgar, Emériand, Anita, Blanche, Sinaï, Berthé and Dollard. Ernest was retired from Inco (Vale) after 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four wheeler. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus in the 3rd and 4th Degree in Lavigne. Memorial visitation and funeral mass will be announced at a later date. Arrangements in care of the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
