Gladys M. Glasser
1920 – 2017
On Sunday, April 30, 2017, Gladys Glasser of Lampman, Sask. passed away peacefully, with family at her side.
Gladys was born on September 25, 1920, the first child born to Thomas and Queenie Ross of Chandler, Sask. In 1937, the Ross family moved to Browning, Sask. where Gladys met and married Lawrence Fieber in 1945. They had eight children together. Gladys loved life and she faced it cheerfully and courageously. She loved music, gardening, reading, crocheting, her pets and family and friends. A few years after Lawrence passed away, Gladys married Phil Glasser and a new family was added to her life.
Left behind to cherish precious memories of Gladys are her two daughters, Taylor Ross and Deborah Ann Jones (Alex); four sons, Fred (Beryl), Richard, Edward and Christopher (Eva); Phil Glasser’s family, Ron (Linda), Garth (Shirley) and Dan (Val); son-in-law Al; brother Dick Ross, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Leonardo Tamayo. Both services will be held at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery, after which a luncheon will be held in the church basement.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Lampman Community Health Centre for the loving care provided to Mom. Also, thanks to all those who came, prayed, encouraged, provided ministry and hospitality, food and support during this difficult time. Thank you to Hall Funeral Services for their assistance with funeral arrangements.
