William Thomas Ted Lineham (Okotoks) – January 16, 1931 – April 21, 2017

William Thomas “Ted” Lineham was a descendant of the founding fathers of the Okotoks area.
Raised in Turner Valley, Ted worked many years as a welder and pipeliner. Ted raised his family in Pincher Creek where he worked as a businessman, farmed and was a contributing member to his community, being active in the Agricultural Society. Ted played hockey for the Sulpher Kings and coached minor hockey. He was a member of the Elks, Lions Club, Legion and Rotary Club. Ted served 3 terms on… the Okotoks Town Council.
Ted owned a Pipeline Inspection and Consulting company working throughout Alberta. Although Ted was a welder, his passion was farming.
A loving Husband to wife Janet Fay (nee: Neeser Tepper); the Father of 5 daughters: Judy Lineham (Roy Taylor); Carol & Garry Jones, Beverly & Dave Hoffman, Terri & Richard (Bettle)Bailey and Dodie Lineham (Ron Lajeunesse) and their families. Canadian “Dad” to Mirka Hovanes and Petra Gallerno; Brother-in-law to Glen (Ellen) Neeser; Sisters-in-law Lona and Valerie. He was Uncle Ted, Cousin and Friend to many. Ted was predeceased by his brothers Don and Allan (Oop), his first wife, Shirley; grandson John McCandless and great granddaughter Kayana Stolson. We are grateful to our doctor, STARS, and the many teams of doctors and professionals for their incredible care at the Rockyview, Foothills and South Health Campus Hospitals. If desired donations may be made to charity of your choice.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Okotoks Elks Hall, 58 Elizabeth Street Okotoks, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday May 6, 2017
